Direct Debit Card Accounts.


We accept switch, delta, solo and electron debit cards, subject to bank authorisation.

Winnings on debit cards will automatically be added in to your account and subsequent bets will be charged from that balance on a daily basis, Any balance at the end of our trading day will be credited to your bank account. Every effort will be made to ensure direct debit card transactions are authorised by the bank, however, during busy periods bets will be accepted subject to authorisation.


Credit Card Accounts.


We accept VISA and Master Card credit card transactions subject to bank authorisation. Winnings on credit card transactions will automatically be added into your account and subsequent bets will be charged from this balance. We cannot add any winnings to your bank account; all settlements will be made by cheque to your current address on request. Every effort will be made to ensure your credit card transaction is authorised by the bank prior to acceptance, however, during busy periods bets will be accepted subject to authorisation. We will seek authorisation only on your current credit card number as registered with us. Any change of card, expiry date etc, must be notified to us immediately or naturally your bets cannot be authorised. We advise anyone wishing to change card details should do so prior to wishing to place a bet as prior to the off of a race may result in you not getting your bet on. In the event of your authorisation being refused by the bank it is the customer's responsibility to investigate with their bank as at no time are Manny Bernstein given any if you should lose your card or a third party knows your account number, please inform our Call Centre Manager immediately by calling the usual number. We will then issue a new membership card/account number to you. details about a customers confidential bank account. Bets can only be placed over the telephone and should only be placed by the account holder.


Deposit Accounts.


Posting a cheque to our Head Office will open a deposit account. Cheques presented for deposit accounts will be banked and after clearance by the bank (normally five working days) an account will be set up in your name. You may also deposit funds into a deposit account via a debit/credit card. The account will only be set up for you if the cheque is also in your name. Bets can only be placed over the telephone and should only be placed by the account holder.

It is the account holder's responsibility to ensure there is no unauthorised use of their account. Any transactions entered into, where both the account holder's name and number have been given to effect a wager, shall stand as a bona fide transaction, dependent upon the current balance of the deposit account. The onus is on the customer to ensure that the deposit account has sufficient credited funds to satisfy any betting transactions. Stakes Will be deducted from your deposit at the time of placing your bet, no matter when the result is determined, i.e. ante-post betting. Where the balance of the deposit account is insufficient to cover a requested bet, then the bet will be selected in proportion to available funds. If a bet is placed in error after the deposit held by Manny Bernstein has been exhausted, the bet will be declared void, win or lose.
