TELEBETTING ACCOUNTS

All callers must be 18 or over. Using a Manny Bernstein telephone account could not be easier. Simply call on our free phone number and quote your confidential account number and name.

Our telephonist will then take your bet details. For speed and efficiency we would ask you to give your selections first, your bet instructions and stake.

In the interest of our staff and your bets being placed correctly all telephone conversations are tape-recorded. You're details and total stake invested will always be read back to you, please listen carefully and point out any discrepancy immediately.

Bets will stand in accordance with our telephonist's verbal confirmation at the end of the call, subject to our rules and, to any correction made by the account holder at the time. If at any time we cannot reach a satisfactory decision on any queries then IBAS will make the final decision and we will abide with their ruling.

Confidential account numbers are issued to customers for their personal use and should be kept private at all times. Account holders are responsible for all bets accepted on their account where the person placing the bet has quoted the correct name and account number.

Should a telephone call be disconnected before the bet instructions are called back by the telephonists, the bet will stand providing the account holder's instructions are understood and acceptable in accordance with our rules.

Statements are available weekly, fortnightly, monthly or on request. Cheques are available on request; you should give our Accounts Department three days notice to complete the required administration work.
